The consolation games for the NBA Summer League looked drastically different in comparison to the first eight days of games. The rosters are different as the games do not matter much if they are not one of the four teams in the semifinal round.
Andre Jackson Jr.
The Milwaukee Bucks played today, but the team did not include Jackson. That can be a good sign for the 2023 NCAA champion, who is looking to take one of the final remaining spots on the Bucks’ NBA roster, which is rumored to be between him and Thanasis Antetokounmpo. Jackson finished his third NBA Summer League with averages of 5.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 21.2 minutes while shooting 50% from the field, 66.7% from deep and 100% from the free-throw line. The Bucks concluded their Summer League schedule with a 93-92 loss to the Miami Heat.
Adama Sanogo
Sanogo was available for the Utah Jazz’s final game of the Summer League, but did not play. He finishes his third Summer League with averages of 3.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 12.9 minutes per game while shooting 71.4% from the field and 75% from the charity stripe. The Jazz wrapped up Summer League play with a 105-92 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
Samson Johnson
The only Husky to take the floor in Las Vegas on Friday was Johnson, who is looking to land on an NBA roster after finishing his collegiate career as the winningest player in UConn men’s basketball history. The two-time NCAA champion scored his first two professional baskets for four points in six minutes off the bench. The Indiana Pacers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 113-104 at the Cox Pavilion.
