Today is Week 7, and the list of college football games today could not look better. With two top-ten matchups, this Saturday, this is a can’t-miss week. Let’s take a look at the matchups today:
#15 NC State (5-1) at #18 Syracuse (5-0) (-3)
Syracuse may be the favorites in this mid-afternoon ACC battle, but the Wolfpack have only lost twice to the Orange. This will be a wake-up call for ‘Cuse. However, with no Devin Leary, I’ll take Syracuse.
Tune into NC State at Syracuse at 3:30 PM ET on ACC Network.
#16 Mississippi State (5-1) (-3.5) at #22 Kentucky (4-2)
Mississippi State has an edge in the all-time series, but Kroger Field under the lights will be electric. Give me Will Levis and the Wildcats in Lexington tonight.
Tune into Mississippi State at Kentucky at 7:30 PM ET on SEC Network.
#8 Oklahoma State (5-0) at #13 TCU (5-0) (-4.5)
The Horned Frogs look strong this year, entering this game with back-to-back ranked wins. It’s a home game for TCU, and they have won three of the last five meetings versus the Cowboys. TCU at home gets their third-straight ranked win.
Tune into Oklahoma State at TCU at 3:30 PM ET on ABC.
#7 USC (6-0) at #20 Utah (4-2) (-3.5)
Utah is a solid team this year, but they have already suffered two losses, while the Trojans are undefeated. Caleb Williams and USC’s offense is too strong, one of the best in the country. I think that’s enough for me to pick Southern California as they visit Salt Lake City.
Tune into USC at Utah at 8 PM ET on FOX.
#10 Penn State (5-0) at #5 Michigan (6-0) (-7)
Michigan is one of the top teams in scoring offense and defense. This game is highly anticipated as the Nittany Lions put their undefeated record on the line at the Big House. It feels like Penn State never wins the big plays to improve their resumé. They won’t win today because they’re in Ann Arbor with a less trustworthy team.
Tune into Penn State at Michigan at 12 PM ET on FOX.
#3 Alabama (6-0) (-9) at #6 Tennessee (6-0)
Two 6-0 teams clash on the Third Saturday of October. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young will be playing today, which is enormous in this rivalry matchup. Tennessee has not beaten the Crimson Tide since 2006, and I don’t see that changing today. Never bet against ‘Bama.
Tune into Alabama at Tennessee at 3:30 PM ET on CBS.
