Tokyo Olympics Preview: Day 2

Good morning everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your coffee as you turned on NBCSN to see the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team beat New Zealand. That team has a terrific chance at winning gold.

Currently, the Olympic Medal leaderboard looks like this:

  1. China (3 gold, 1 bronze, 4 total)
  2. South Korea (1 gold, 2 bronze, 3 total)
  3. Italy (1 gold, 1 silver) (TIED FOR 3RD)
  4. Japan (1 gold, 1 silver) (TIED FOR 3RD)
  5. ROC (1 silver, 1 bronze) (TIED FOR 5TH)
  6. Serbia (1 silver, 1 bronze) (TIED FOR 5TH)

The United States has not won a medal so far in the Olympics, but that will change soon.

What to watch

Team USA is currently playing against France in men’s volleyball, so go over to NBC right now to catch some of the action.

USA’s women’s beach volleyball will compete against China at 8 PM ET tonight. You can stream it here, but it should also be on NBC.

Simone Biles and Team USA’s women’s gymnastics team will begin tonight at 9 PM ET. You can stream it here, as well as NBC.

USA Softball will take on Australia tonight at 9 PM ET on CNBC.

The first swimming medals will be awarded in men’s 400m individual medley, men’s 400m freestyle, women’s 400m individual medley, and women’s 4 x 100m freestyle relay. The events will begin at 9:30 PM ET, and you can stream it here. NBC should air it as well.
