Yesterday, I went 8-4 for picks, which was much better than what I did last Saturday. What’s surprising is that Kentucky is 3-0 in SEC play right now. Beating Florida was a huge win for John Calipari. I’m never going to be sold on Kentucky this year. They’re too young. For the first three games of Super Wild Card Weekend, we saw three very entertaining games. We saw the Colts come up short on a late drive against Buffalo, the Rams stunned the Seahawks in Seattle, and Taylor Heinicke was the star of the entire game, but Washington couldn’t keep up with Tom Brady and the talented Buccaneers team. I heard coach Ron Rivera said that they needed to run the ball more. Why? Against the best run defense in the league? The passing game was much more effective and that’s why Washington was staying in the game. By the way, Chase Young couldn’t shed the blocks, so he was wrong about calling out Tom Brady. We have 3 games today and I hope all of them are as fun as yesterday’s games.
Ravens (11-5) (-3.5) at Titans (11-5)
Why is Baltimore the favorite? The Titans have a much better offense, carried by Derrick Henry who ran all over the Ravens last time. I expect the same to happen, but I do think the Ravens know this could be a revenge game. This may end up being the best game of the weekend. Lamar Jackson may be an MVP, but he hasn’t shown up in the playoffs.
Watch Ravens at Titans at 1:05 PM ET on ABC/ESPN.
Bears (8-8) at Saints (12-4) (-9)
Rumor has it Drew Brees might retire after this season. That very well could happen, but I don’t see one of the all-time greats retiring after a loss in the Wild Card Round. Brees has a great offense, which starts and ends with Alvin Kamara. If Michael Thomas can play like he carried your fantasy teams in past years, then the Saints may be going deep in the NFC bracket. However, they must face Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears. Also, how has no one talked about the Saints defense as much as the other defenses? They are truly one of the best in the league right now.
Watch Bears at Saints at 4:40 PM ET on CBS, Nickelodeon, and Prime Video.
Browns (11-5) at Steelers (12-4) (-6)
I think the Browns won’t make it past this round due to COVID-19 problems within the team. The Browns at full strength could maybe beat the Steelers, but without a healthy offensive line and T.J. Watt on the other side of the line of scrimmage, I think Cleveland will switch gears to the Cavaliers after this game. Can Juju quit making Tik Toks and focus on getting past Wild Card Weekend? We’ll find out tonight during an AFC North matchup.
Watch Browns at Steelers at 8:15 PM ET on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock.
